I am a retired teacher and Omni is the group that deals with my 403b distribution to my mutual fund company. I have been retired for eight years and have used my 403b for many reasons in that time. I was not comfortable when the district I worked for began using Omni as its representative because it seemed like a more complicated process than necessary. In fact, when I was told of the time it would take to get my distribution, I was a little upset. As it turns out, it did not take as long as expected and I was very satisfied. Since that time I have taken at least ten distributions. I was told to call between 24 and 48 hours after the fax was sent to acknowledge receipt of the request. Every time I called, I was told that it was received and because I had all my paper work in order, the request was already sent out. The reason I am writing now, is due to a few glitches in the process. None of these glitches were Omni's fault, but the representatives were extremely helpful and worked with me to solve any problem. Paperwork was found and re-faxed and everything has been taken care of. In a world of talking to machines, it is comforting to know you can actually speak to a person who is patient and understanding. Thank you and all of the staff at Omni

Every time I call; I am greeted with energy, enthusiasm, and respect. I did compliance and human resources for a MI based TPA for 3 years…, and I know what it is like to be yelled at, demeaned, disrespected and blamed for all the world's woes. I know that people's frustration comes from not understanding the IRS regulations imposed on 403(b) retirement accounts, but none-the-less, it is a difficult job sometimes to even know what the rules and regs are, much less try and explain them to clients…

I just wanted to say thank you to your awesome team, and let you know that we appreciate you and the diligence that your team dedicates to servicing their client's needs.

I have dealt with many people at OMNI, most on a daily basis, and I just wanted to name a few people who have gone above and beyond, on more than one occasion, to help expedite or resolve an issue. During the fall of 2008, as we were implementing the new 403b regulations, we selected a company to serve as our Third Party Administrator (TPA). We selected the company based upon their credentials and a demo of employee web portal. At that time, references were good but limited because the new regulations were not yet in effect. Immediately after the regulation "go live" date, we started experiencing problems with our selected TPA. Within 90 days of the regulation effective date, we informed the TPA that we would no longer remit the money through the TPA but would remit payment directly to the investment providers.

After several months of trying to fix the TPA remittance problems we started looking for a new TPA. But where do we start looking for another TPA? We started by looking on the internet and blogs asking people who they were using and who was doing a good job. We learned that we were not the only company that was experiencing problems with a TPA. The one name that was mentioned by several people as a reliable TPA was The OMNI Group. After being so severely burned with the first TPA, I directed my staff to do a thorough search and "dig up dirt" on The OMNI Group. They searched the internet for days and found nothing bad to report. At that point, we contacted The OMNI Group. Needless to say, we were very careful about entering into another relationship with a TPA. After three months of discussion with OMNI, we terminated the contract with the original TPA and signed a contract with OMNI.

During the implementation period, OMNI was very responsive to our every question and concern. After our previous relationship, we had a lot of "concerns". They were very patient with us and explained every step of the process thoroughly. Our implementation was very smooth and the first payroll with OMNI was flawless.

Recently, I learned of a provision in our plan document that needed correction. To remedy the issue, OMNI's legal department helped us draft a new plan document and that document was adopted by our Board of Education.

I do not posses the eloquence to properly convey our satisfaction with The OMNI Group. They do the job right the first time and their customer service is superb. I know the difference between a good and bad TPA, The OMNI Group is an excellent

The Syracuse City School District chose OMNI Group as our 403(b) Third Party Administrator based on their integrity and presentation as our partner, not just our administrator. Within the first 3 months of selecting OMNI, we understood the importance of having a partner and not just an administrator.

OMNI coordinated a vendor fair for our 4,400 employees bringing all of the investment firms in one place for employees to compare alternatives. Although the new legislation enacted for January 2009 significantly altered and limited 403(b) offerings to employees, this open forum set up by OMNI eased the transition for staff. We successfully re-signed nearly 100% of participating staff.

OMNI met with us multiple times to educate our staff, draft correspondence to employees, establish data transfer protocols and convert nearly 2,000 employee 403(b) payroll deductions.

Since then, OMNI has met with us quarterly and resolved issues as they occur via phone. In the early stage of this transition, one vendor was not providing satisfactory customer support to the District or its employees. OMNI stepped up and within one day resolved the issues with this vendor that had dragged on for several weeks. If your business is looking to choose a TPA and a long term partner who puts your business first, then OMNI is a great choice.

The OMNI Group has been the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District third party administrator for our 403(b) and 457 programs since January 2002.

Our initial startup with OMNI was extremely smooth and easy. They provided clear procedures and the necessary forms to assure Internal Revenue Service compliance. An audit of our existing program was completed to identify deficiencies and make suggested methods of correction to ensure compliance. This audit was completed within one day resulting in minimal impact to our operations.

Our district has found OMNI to be exceptional in responsiveness to all inquiries. Inquires are handled quickly, professionally and with a desire to support our District. Furthermore, OMNI is proactive to ensure compliance by informing the District well in advance should an individual employee be projected to exceed the maximum annual contribution limit.

Due to OMNI as our third party administrator we estimate savings to be a minimum of two staff days per month. The time savings result from processing a single vendor and point of contact rather than 40 different vendors with multiple accounts and mailings.
